Free His Normness!

Note: This story was originally presented in late September, 2002 but in some areas, remains of interest as stations and networks change their programming lineup.
Starting Monday morning, September 30, 2002, HGTV (Home & Garden Television) replaced our trusty This Old House and New Yankee Workshop in the 7 to 8 am (EST) slots. If that didn't spin your router, they replaced His Normness & company with a double dose of Martha Stewart, sans stock tips.
We can whine all we want, but real paper letters, emails and phone calls from the viewers who formerly populated HGTV's morning demographics carry some real weight. If you choose to participate in this effort, please present reasoned correspondence. Nobody at HGTV is going to be moved by crackpots no matter how significant the pile of mail is.
