Tall "Shop" Cabinet Plan

Originally designed as a shop cabinet, this project is frequently altered for use in the kitchen as a pantry that fits the smaller layouts of today. Others have converted it to a storage cabinet for the family room to house toys, videotapes and other things that need to be put away.

The three boxes that fit into the lower shelves contain my household electrical, plumbing and general fastener supplies that I wanted separated from the wood shop. Here again, others are finding many other purposes for these handy "take-along" boxes.

As described in the NewWoodworker.com Custom Plan Set, the Tall "Shop" Cabinet is approximately 72"-tall, 24"-wide and 11 ½"-deep. Those basic dimensions can be changed easily if your needs are a bit wider or deeper.
