Table Saw Sled Plan

#NWW018
Difficulty: New Woodworker & Up

By Tom Hintz

Note: Now available in our Top 4 Jigs Plan/DVD offer! - Click Here

This is a simple project to build that can make many cutting operations safer. I was moved to finish this jig after a nasty kickback convinced me it was time.

As described in the Plan Set this Sled is small enough to use easily in the average home shop but still has a crosscut capacity of over 15"! It is built from common materials, many of which you may already have in your scrap bin.

The Plan set includes professionally written step-by-step instructions, 2 pages of detailed drawings and a link to a special supplemental photo page that details my simple method of getting the runners and Sled aligned perfectly the first time.
